Magic is definitely getting the upper hand in this arc and we get to see the origin of how those mysterious tools that stabbed the people in the first arc and new rules have been implemented in the game. From now on, phrases in red will represent the truth and cannot be distorted or denied. Battler was able to crack the first challenge but was presented with the possibility that one of the family relatives is a suspect.

The servants were aware of the ceremony to be carried out by the witch and prolly prepared, however, they do not favor the witch. Perhaps there was one thing that was intriguing – Rosa was in the chapel along with the rest. But in ep08, the first set of sacrifice in the chapel did not include Rosa.

Also, the first couple (Kanon and Jessica) of the second twilight have been sacrificed and from Beatrice’s strategy, she placed herself as one of the role on the game board. In short, her presence is acknowledged and confirmed.

Suprisingly, the “furniture” mentioned in the anime possess special powers, kinda far fetched but I assume they are Beatrice’s servants turned bad. If Kanon has such powers that is able to materialize a warp blade, I cant really imagine what Shanon will have (Zerg Kerrigan? :P  )

It is possible that Rosa may be made into a suspect as the witch will prolly fog the truth with her “whatever magic” on Battler and yes, Maria can be really be irritating at times with that gay laughter although her “uuu uuu” make up for it. It is really sweet to see George and Shanon together in this arc although their happiness will be short lived.
