The first time I heard the song was in the first scene in FFX, which is one of the first PS2 games that I played
It’s an amazing song, the song simply took my breath away when I first heard it..
That’s when I first thought that the piano is awesome, lol..
It’s a shame that I wasn’t able to finish the game, almost finished it..

If you want more, I’d definitely give the Final Fantasy Piano Collections album a listen. There’s more FF Piano goodness where those came from.
FFX was quite possibly the first game I played on the PS2 as well. I completed it six times but never fully completed it (the hidden bosses). To Zanarkand remains one of the most beautiful and melancholic pieces to this day in my music archive. Simply beautiful.
And actually the original version is also done on the piano.
@Panther
I have to agree with you bro, it is one of the beautiful pieces in soundtrack archive as well
@Setsukyie
More FF music please ;)
