Ys Seven and Ys I&II chronicles will be released on the PSP.
The main character in Ys Seven will be continue to be Adol but the battle system will be redone again, featuring party play with old characters such as Dogi this time around.
I am sure there are still Ys fans around but honestly, another remake ? I wish they make an entire different series. Seems to me that PSP is loaded with RPG remakes but maybe I am wrong.

All along, I thought Ys VI – “The Ark of Napishtim” is the latest in the series.
Actually, I don’t mind the remakes. This is a good chance to play (collect) the entire serie. Furthermore, such games are difficult to find the original version. Platform issue might arise with the originals.
Prehaps it is cheaper to do remake then to develop a new game. The company might want to ‘cut cost’? haha…

true but again was hoping for some new series instead. although i am hoping there are new Japanese rpgs for the psp instead of just remakes.. zz.
of course, other genres have no issues but for RPGs…just too difficult i guess ;(
