Goodbye 2008...

2008’s over and and here we are, ushered into 2009 and back to work today. Going to countdown was pretty fun ‘cept the crowd hogging, how many of you went for any countdown ? Mine is pretty simple, a dinner with my beloved in a restaurant located at Chijmes (located at Victoria Street, Singapore) while looking at others counting down (yes, yummy food). :)

A few good news to share – The Banzai! Effect is now listed in both Antenna and Animenano, a first step for us to share news (translated, untranslated or whatsoever), reviews and many more to you guys.

Nov 17 2008 to Jan 2 2009

I am using Google Analytics for my visitor analysis and they don’t seem to provide a widget for Wordpress either (maybe there is ). Nevertheless, since the 17th of November till today, we have attracted a total of 7395 visits without attached to any major aggregators. The graph shows unhealthy low growth and spikes are those when you post photos of events (AFA and EOY). The average day to day post increased slightly as a result of animenano listing us.

Majority of my visitors uses Firefox, which is a good sign as The Banzai! Effect is not fully compatible with IE6. I am hoping you guys will feedback if you notice any oddities in the design of the site.
