Playstation 3 Slim (or rather PS3 Slim) is now officially announced, the body structure still looks similar except the reduction in body dimensions. Unboxing video by IGN on Youtube reveals the 120GB model, check it out. Price-wise should be USD299, a lil cheaper than the classic version.
One thing though, the logo looks kinda weird. I hope I dont see that logo in my boot screen of my classical PS3 in future firmware updates :(
