Many have been hoping for a price cut in Sony’s Playstation 3 and according to Xbit Labs, they might get their hopes fulfilled as a possible price cut in April may happen, but will it happen ?
Despite of the high manufacturing costs of PS3, Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. will lower the price of the system this April, an analyst said.
Despite the slowing economy, Sony Playstation 3 remains steadfast in its pricing mainly because that is retail unit is already selling at a loss and according to the source, each unit costs around USD$448 to make and it was also mentioned by the video gaming unit of Sony that the company is focusing on making money than cutting losses.
Will you planning to buy the Playstation 3 if there is a price cut ? For me, I am waiting for their upcoming games, only the FF13 series manage to capture my attention. How about you?

Just so you know if you have a Xbox then there really is no reason to buy a Playstation just for FF13.

I do not have an X360 either, and two reasons I got the PS3 for, X360 had them too. Well, then again, Sony has always been the gaming console for me, but this generation, they suck so bad it is not even funny.

well if u want to play versus thats only on the ps3, lol but i dont think i want to. its so stupid how the best ps games are now on the xbox
