Akikan is a romantic comedy slated for a release on Jan 3 next year, the anime will feature about a boy who went to a vending machine to get a can of melon soda and ends up with the can transforming into a bishoujo (babe) and the tricky part?
They need to be fused with carbon dioxide from kissing to survive.
Now go grab a can from the vending machine.
The first episode will be previewed on the Bandai Channel and Yahoo! Japan websites, as well as on other Japanese venues, starting on December 30.

Actually, this news was up in wikipedia some time ago. I was in wiki and read the article on Akikan. It was stated there that an anime adaptation was coming.. Wonder where that came from.
