More Stabbings in Japan ? Boy Stabs Sleeping Dad

A 17 year old boy stabbed his sleeping dad in the head. After the dad called for help and the ambulance staff came, they found the boy dazed with the knife in his hand.

The boy has admitted he intended to kill his father and told police: “I thought taking care of me must have been difficult.”

It is sometimes hard to figure out what teens are thinking nowadays. It is not known in the article if he is some otaku or not but based on the article, he seems to be a sporty and active boy in school until he starts to come to school less. Luckily for the dad, he remains alive but ain’t sure how he is gonna deal with his kid anymore. How are the teens like in your area ? If you are a teen, how do you cope with stress?
