This is pretty old news but worth a mention if you guys aren’t aware of it, seems like Lucky Star’s Izumi family will be registered as official residents in Satte, a city north of Tokyo in Japan. The registration will take place on Jan 3, 2010 and manga creator, Yoshimizu Kagami will be drawing a special certificate of residency for them.
Aww…so sweet.
On a sidenote, the lifesize statue Tetsujin-28 in Kobe gets a certificate too. ^^||| Size doesn’t matter, do they ? The ceremony took place yesterday.

the school in Lucky Star is in Kasukabe, All the girls live in different cities, same prefecture (saitama). They got izumi’s city correct.
