a new background for the UI
Yup, you got that right, the DLC is now available for the PC (Free) and Xbox360 (as a purchase). If you are on Steam, the update will kick in automatically. Here are some preview shots, I am gonna play that campaign a while later ^^

this guy flew the chopper in Mercy Hospital. ended up he is a infected, hence, the chopper crashed.
Crash Course takes place between Mercy Hospital and Death Toll and is a 2 tier mission in this particular campaign. Of course, there are some minor changes to other modes such as:
- In Versus mode, all weapons, pills, health packs, molotovs, pipe bombs and other items will now be identical for the second round of a chapter
- Matchmaking has had several improvements to make finding and joining games even faster
- Ten all new “Crash Course” achievements have been added
Have fun guys! :D I am looking forward to Left 4 Dead 2 which is slated for retail on the 17th Nov 2009

I’m happy to have new Left 4 Dead content, just not totally stoked that Crash Course is it. I wrote about the Crash Course DLC here, but it just surprises me that full-time Valve employees fell short where guys who work on mods/campaigns in their free time can make excellent 5-chapter campaigns. I’m not buying the “we always had this in development” story…but I’m still buying Left 4 Dead 2. What does that say about me?
