the good old classic..
I have yet to try out Windows 7 Beta but heard from most people that it runs pretty stable, in fact it loads faster than Vista (perhaps I should give it a try on my other rig – AMD Athlon XP ). While I have not seen a BSOD screen for windows 7 yet, the cool guys over at Gizmodo captured this awesome screen of blueness. Yes, over so many years, the BSOD remains and prevail – even in Windows 7.
So, for those who tried out Windows 7 beta, what do you guys’ comments ? Good?

NOOOO!!!
For the love of Haruhi, Konata and all things moe!!!
This brings back memories~ I remember it took about half an hour for this screen to appear on my win 95 when I first got it and oh so many of them followed. Good times….
BSoD will never change. :D
Eh… looks like a purposefully crafted error. Stop code 8E is always a hardware error, usually RAM.
I *think* you could force it by switching an IDE disk with an SATA one with the same disk image, at least I managed to do that under emulation.
As for Windows 7, it’s pretty zippy (even under emulation on a laptop with 512MB of RAM). As long as the released version maintains or improves upon the current preformance levels and manages to fix the current major issues, I’m willing to recommend it.
BSoD will always stay by Windows forever.. Unless they can come out with a new design of it.. xD
I am giving Windows 7 a try if it completes by today..
ok i guess better than vista thats for sure.
but bootup on a stock install uses up 340mb of ram. will need to slim it down to use it on netbooks.
ive got it now, and i cant fix it! my computer hasnt worked for like 2 weeks im so p’od!
other than windws 7 is freakin awesome
