News of Final Fantasy XIII soundtrack have surfaced, it is gonna be impressive as the original soundtrack (OST) ships on four discs. In addition to all the in-game tracks, it will include Sugawara Sayuri’s two theme songs, Kimi ga Iru Kara and Eternal Love.
and as usual, the soundtrack is packed in a lovely “box”. The limited edition (as seen in pic above), will have 4 music discs, a bonus drama CD featuring a retelling of the Encounter volume of the Final Fantasy XIII Episode Zero Promise web novel distributed on the official FF XIII site. Vocals featured in the drama CD will be the same voice actors as the game.
next, most importantly is a visual fan book that comes with the limited edition. 32 pages thick.
Final Fantasy XIII original soundtrack will begin retail on January 27, 2010. Pricing is set at 3,990 yen for the standard version and 5,250 yen for the limited edition.
A special ticket will also be included in the soundtrack, meant for a special winter campaign for the FF XIII OST, not sure what it is but prolly, overseas people outside of Japan might not benefit from this

Hamauzu! Yeah, that’s pretty much the reason why I’m looking forward to this soundtrack. Hamauzu’s just an excellent composer and I’ve enjoyed every soundtrack that he’s worked on.
