The latest Final Fantasy XIII trailer was released today on both Japan , US and European official sites, subtitles are available on the US and European sites. The 2:40 trailer features the actual gameplay battle along with new CGs and the voices of the game. Indeed, after a long wait, fans have finally got something interesting to look forward to
Vocals for the game did not disappoint me and some of the CG scenes were definitely cool, featuring seconds of action packed fights and hype. Once the video shows the gameplay, the initial thought that it resembles PSP’s Final Fantasy Dissidia when it comes to the command selection of battles although of course, it looks much cooler.
Movement and basic battle gameplay should resemble FF XII where you control a character while the rest are AI (noted the “leader icon” in character name), adding on with Dissidia’s kind of fighting and combos, an action packed multi punching and spells is what you will expect in Final Fantasy XIII.
