In a keynote by Sony at e3 2009, the PSPGo has been announced featuring specifications and of course, the price when it is available.
Getting straight to the point first, the upcoming PSP will be retailing at US$249 when it launches on October 1 in North America and Europe and November 1 in Japan.
The slider handheld has a 3.8-inch LCD, built-in Bluetooth
and 16GB of internal storage, 50 percent smaller and 40 percent lighter than the original PSP-1000 and yes, no UMD drive.
Games will instead load in through the Memory Stick Micro slot or over PlayStation Network
Music features have also been beefed up with a new auto-playlist feature called Sense Me, possibily some intelligent playlist tracking. A video download service direct to the PSPGo will also be available, well, at a price most likely.
