In this video at e3 expo 2009, an interview with Final Fantasy XIII Producer Yoshinori Kitase and Director Motomu Toriyama was made regards to the gameplay system and the summonings. The main question was popped to them – Will multiple language trackes be featured in the game ? Answer: No
After some persuading from the one of the audience, his answer became “We will consider it” … well..dont bet too much about it.
Final Fantasy XIII will be set for a release in Fall 2009, targeting Playstation 3 first and also Xbox360. The initial release is supposedly to be in Japanese. English release will come later in 2010.
