Nice Tomoyo Wallpaper

It is really an interesting affair sometimes to check out about other people’s wallpapers or how their desktop themes look like. As different people have different tastes, it is also cool to see whats their perspective when it comes to customizing their desktops – my recent change ? Tomoyo from CLANNAD: After Story with Yahoo widgets on Windows Vista.

My Old Desktop Look – Using Windows 2000

Desktop customizing came a long way ago – from just having nice scenery wallpapers, changing of how icons look and their arrangement and cursor looks to the currently advanced way of tweaking which involves changing of explorer shell, editing of registry or perhaps some programs for newbies like Stardock, Rocketdock and many theme customizing programs.

Over the years since I was 12 till now, I have developed a taste to keep my Windows desktop as clean as possible, unnecessary cluttering can be sometimes irritating and also block the beauty of your desktop. How about you ? What is your taste and what is your preference ?

It is all about ego sometimes when it is about cluttering their desktop with fanciful widgets and tools, sometimes to the extent to almost-choking your CPU or RAM. Being someone who has being disturbed many others who had pestered me what is causing their PC to slow down, I realised that most of them (at least 3-4 out of 5) have their problems of cluttering their desktop while the rest is due to lack of the knowledge to maintain their PC.

The Kanon version? :P

All the customized desktops were on my Windows XP. I have yet to try any on Windows Vista, for now, I am still good with a clean desktop with a few widgets. What have you guys used so far ? ;)
