According to the original source of news by Akibanana, Naruto’s library of past episodes and new episodes will be available on Crunchyroll about one hour after their Japanese broadcast from January 8, 2009.
On the same date, uploading of episodes from other titles will be stopped and will only host video approved by copyright holders.
Mark the date.

HA I knew this would once come but very shocked to say the least. I really wonder how much their traffic is going to decrease after this. Streaming the fan subbed works got them where they are not they are “going legit” hmm they better get something damn good.
Although any of us could create the next crunchy roll their are youtube like platforms premade all you have to do is install them on a webserver and boom you’ve got the next “video” site.
@ Jellokun: But running a video site is expensive..*points at Stage6*
Well, I don’t use Crunchyroll, so I’m not that sad to hear the news. And I was expecting it anyway, considering the recent events and stuff.
