the end of a beautiful episode

Key, Kyoani or CLANNAD fans alike, CLANNAD is over and ended with a beautiful note and alike others who loved this series, there is a tinge of emptiness on what is the next anime that can take over such a lovely series.

orbs of light? there is a significance to it in the story

Given the magic by Key in CLANNAD, their visual novels feature a tingle of warmth and yet a slight dip of sadness. Like AIR and Kanon, I am sure those went thru the story will know the happy and sad side in their stories. CLANNAD brings it to a higher level, giving us the emotional roller coaster that we all like. The finale episode of the story (ep22) tells us the key in unravelling the entire series – Miracle.

A miracle is like a magic in Key’s stories and it was through this spark of miracle that gave Tomoya a chance back to Nagisa’s side. I won’t touch much on the story’s plot, if you are one who are into emotional roller coasters or “miracle- style” kind of animes, you should try CLANNAD and I gotta admit, there was a tinge of emo in me when I watched the finale scene of the episode that came with my favorite song from CLANNAD. ^^ (video spoiler of scene at the end of post)

Kyoani have really did a nice adptation of this series. Pairing up the animation quality with the lovely soundtracks from CLANNAD itself, it is simply love.

The side story and the recap episode was very well done as well, particularly the latter. I wasn’t really expecting this episode but I like the pace Tomoya depicts the timeline of the story and the way he elaborates it.

Everything is wrapped nice and cuddly in the end as everyone gets a lovely ending. Hope you guys had enjoyed watching CLANNAD.
