DFC returns
The recent update about Ar Tonelico 3 today has confirmed that Cocona, from Ar Tonelico 2 will return. Along with that is also her friend, Sasya. Both of them have grown up into teens.
Along with the returning characters is also a shocking discovery inAr Tonelico 3 – the presence of a GAR muscle girl.

Her name is Mute, ordered by Akane of Crystania’s Civil Corps to put Saki into custody. She is only otome who contrasts in appearance as compared to others.
Next, the 2nd official trailer has been added to the official website. Some kind soul has ripped out the trailer on youtube. :3 (it isn’t really new, it is the amazon japan trailer in its full glory instead of the jerky trailer)

Ar Tonelico 3 will be set to retail for the Playstation 3 on the 28th Jan 2010

looks better and better! hopefully this will get localized, or semi-localized like menus and battle commands all in enlgish with english subs,
well, the previous Ar tonelico series were localized, this shouldn’t be an exception. the question is how long it is gonna take
i’d say if they do localize it like you say then maybe a november release date for the rest of the world. I’d love it to be earlier but these things obviously take time especailly for europa with all those differently spoke languages.
I’m horrified by the fact that Ootani Ikue is voicing for that GAR-looking woman. Seriously, WTF. On the other hand, both Cocona and Sasya look great.

Personally, I find it hard to picture someone looking like that, and producing a voice like Ootani’s.
I dunno why, that person gives me the Luna’s Papa (Seto no Hanayome) feel. I know, it’s insulting towards a lady but… =\
