The latest update in Ar Tonelico 3 during Christmas is more than exciting. A brand new 4 minute plus trailer was unveiled, featuring returning favorites – Cocona, Krusche and Jack, new gameplay highlights and also the list of Hymmnos singers.
Cocona has grown up from a kid to a teen now, her role in the story should play a important role in my opinion
Most importantly is the in-game vocals and also new songs being played in this trailer.
I am not too proficient in Japanese myself either but based on the speech from 2:42 to 4:25:
Finnel: If I do not die… That girl will destroy this world. I do not want that.
Aoto: That’s Saki’s only wish! Such a tiny wish.. Why cant such a little wish be granted?
Cocona??/ Mir?? – Please understand. Humans(?) are nothing but betrayers who cannot keep their promises
Saki - It’s not true! This world truly is beautiful!
Aoto - “Screw that! How much longer do you think Finnel is going to suffer because of that?”
Finnel- I did not do anything wrong! Even then, why…? So terrible… So terrible…
Aoto - “Once again, I am unable to keep my promise… I wanted to protect you, as long as you are alive I don’t need anything! How can something such as this that cannot be granted? Waaagh!! (screams)”

this game is going to be epic! final fantasy 13 has now been toppled off as my most wanted rpg, this is now at the top of my list, i just really hope that this gets an english translation. otherwise i might have to take up japanese just so i can get the chance to play this!
I assume NISA would pick up this one after they’re done with Rorona no Atelier. Can’t wait for either two.
well, there’s also a rumor that Namco-Bandai might be the one to do this one.
