This year, according the source during the press-con, there will be a 4m – tall wall that will segregate the concert event from the booths. This will isolate the noise and also better crowd control, giving you the best enjoyable experience during the concert.
Concert tickets will be available for purchase from SISTIC counters for 2 day music event
Entrance tickets can be bought at the event location during the day itself. Online pre-registration is available for weekend passes only. Pre-registrants will not need to queue up on show days to collect tickets. During the press conference, it was mentioned that the pre-registrants can collect the ticket on Friday at a specified time. More details will come soon.
Anime Festival Asia 2009 will take place in Suntec Convention Hall 403-404 on the 21-22 Nov 2009. Check out the official site
While there is a increase of ticket price as compared to last year, do take note that the event is actually more feature rich considering the amount of content and effort being put in. You get 4 artistes performing instead of 2 before. Might worth considering the 2 day pass.
Do you think this is all ? No. Not yet, this is just the first article pertaining to today’s conference about AFA 09 itself. There will 2 more, related to the press con event itself. One which is regarding Animation Asia Conference 2009 and also, a special unexpected appearance of the AFA 09 french maids who appeared after the press-con, managed to take a few shots of them in their non-meido wear ^^”
Stay tuned.

Hiiragi Kagami & Izumi Konata Beach Queens Ver. / 3230 yen (Until 28th Feb) / by Wave
Nendoroid Nakano Azusa / 2833 yen / Good Smile Company
actsta: Teana Lanster / 8,867 yen / Good Smile Company
Ticking pricing seems …. nasty for the concertos. At least they removed the idiotic idea for giving signatures..
as compared to last year, it is pretty reasonable. not to mention, there is a extra miku appearance.
as posted on figure.fm as well, thanks for the updates ^^
@arayden: i actually want the signatures :P
I hope i dont get b&
The 2days concert pass is a little pain for our(MY) little currency, and that is not the VIP pass yet =__=
Make the stage dark, and we can go glowstick mode ON :D
What does the exclusive concert pass do?
the concert pass will get you a place in the front (As compared to the public viewing area) for the artistes performances. of course, it includes the entrance fee already.
those artistes are mayn, shoko-tan, ichirou mizuki, yoshiki fukuyama and a special appearance for miku.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I’m 13!!!!!!T.T
Sry for the spam……anywayz so the $108 is exclusive concert pass? :D If yes, then public can also view the rest behind the 4 m wall free rite? CAN’T WAIT FOR MIKU!
sry.kinda read wrongly.ignore my public can view the rest behind the 4m wall!:P
how are u gonna watch with a 4m TALL wall :P get a ladder and sit on the wall? :3
$108 is an exclusive concert pass for 1 day. for 2 days is $188. refer above. =)
So behind the wall, there’ll be portions separately the 2 categories for ticket holders am I right? If so, my decision on which ticket to get is easily made xD
Woooaaa… i love Madhouse, i’m wonder if we can have change to meet people who make Tokikake.. i really hope so…
Besises, i really love seiyuu. I’m very anticipate to see how they do their job in live(eventhough i’ve seen it many time in computer).. but i really hope i have a change to meet Miki Shinichrou san in person.. anyway, i’m his fan for a long long time.. (he’s a seiyuu of 81 product)
Waiting for G time.. fly to Singapore…
Yay for still being a student. boo for turning 14 so quick. The concert prices are… WOW…
Errrm I’m not sure since I didn’t get to go last year but the entrance ticket… do we purchase it on the day at the place itself or do we have to buy them earlier somewhere
Banzai-Effect + VR-zoners group outing =D
For those who don’t know what is concert pass.
EXCLUSIVE CONCERT PASS – a nicer collectors pass with landyard that you can get compared to the normal looking pass. This has nothing to do with the front seating or nearer to stage seating.
NORMAL CONCERT PASS – a normal concert pass with landyard. It can still consider as a collectors just that the exclusive one may have different design that this.
ABOUT 4 METER WALL – Basically you will not see anything behind that 4 METER WALL. Maybe u can hear a bit, but the sound is not optimized for that area. Based on some blogs, the area beside the 4 METER WALL is AKIBA TOWN where all the retail areas are.
ABOUT CONCERT AREA – This time, the concert area will take up the whole hall space, and the wall is built to separate between akiba town and the concert area based on some blogs. So, general public with limited capacity will only see from very far compared to those who bought tickets. AS in very limited first come first serve basis.
ABOUT THE PASSES – 2 DAY PASS Means you get to access to the concert for both days. 1 DAY PASS means you can either choose SATURDAY concert or SUNDAY concert when you purchase your ticket on SISTIC.
Hope these are clear with those who want to buy tickets but wonder how it works. Pretty simple if you are a concert regulars especially events sold at SISTIC channel.
* all info are based on blogs and collection of info from the official site and speaking to those who attend the 2nd press preview.
Then what about the AFA entrance ticket, the one at 20 dollars for students, where do we purchase that one
As common sense, anything not communicated will be sell at the venue itself. Like how you go to watch movie.
There is also a PRE-REGISTRATION for 2 DAY NORMAL PASS and 2 DAY STUDENT PASS only.
Students need to bring a valid student pass along for verification and only for Singaporean only.
Hey so when do we buy the tickets? Do we go there to buy the tickets on the spot or must we book the tickets before the event? By the way I live in Singapore..
Oh right.. So we’ll be buying the tickets there on the spot.. Well next time I should pay more attention to the comments of the others..
