My childhood classic remastered into HD, wow! April is also the 20th anniversary for its first broadcast… man, that’s such a long time now.
On a sidenote, 20th Century Fox’s hollywood release of Dragonball will be showing in cinemas on the 13th March.

I can confirm it. I visited TOEI Animation (Philippines) and I actually got to do some work on the in-between frames. They no longer have the original cels so they’ll draw over capped images; adding new art to compensate for the wider screen aspect ratios. Here’s the documented proof.
