Animation Asia Conference 2009 (AAC 09) is an event held in conjunction with Anime Festival Asia 09 and will be held at 20th November 2009, 1 day before AFA 09. An industry showcase and business matchmaking session, along with renowned people in the industry.

Industry Showcase and Business Matchmaking -

Only 12 animation companies will be pre-selected by AAC organizers. We hope to provide a platform where new opportunities can emerge from these presentations. New platforms, new IP, new business opportunities – the list goes on. As time is limited, each company is only allowed 5 minutes for a presentation, where they should present their idea or concept in the most interesting way possible.

HOW TO APPLY?

The submission deadline is Friday 20 October. If your talk is selected, we’ll contact you to get your slides (in Powerpoint).
You are require to provide the following details:
* your contact details
* a synopsis (of less than 100 words) and log line or short description (20 words)
* details of project – format/ business type, genre, production company, distribution information and weblinks (if available)
* creator, crew and cast names
* a short and interesting fact about the project

Madhouse, Tatsunoko Production, Production IG, Gonzo have confirmed their participation.

We are seeking submissions from animation companies in Asia. Selected companies will be invited to participate in the Industry Showcase + Matching Session.
