Some marketing company by the name of GFK had reported that 64% of sales in Blu-ray sales in Japan goes to anime. Hot titles like Macross Frontier, Gundam 00 bolstered the growth of sales in the blu ray market, totalling up to 3.8 billion yen just in 9 months and the interesting thing – Western films arent tha thot.
While sales bolstered in the blu ray region, the DVD remains dominant.
so what is the format for anime discs do you own ? ;)

I dont own a bluray player but Ill be buying a new laptop this month and it will have bluray in ‘preparation’ for the day anime titles on bluray do not suck
