Comparing Windows to the soul (Official work of China) to 5 Centimeters per second

chinese-vs-japanese

Someone put up a video on Youtube to make a good comparison of the Japanese anime – Byousoku (5cm per second) and a China made Windows To the Soul.

The animation movie, Byousoku is by Makoto Shinkai while Windows to The Soul is by Lanhai, an animation project that was supposed to teach children a lesson in ethics.

Many scenes were caught by fans to be similar to the Japanese anime and plagiarism accusations were drawn. Lanhai have made an apology, claiming that roughly 1% of the 2500 scenes have a similarity to the Japanese animation.

Call it influence or perhaps plagarism. check out the video
