We have finally stepped into Spring 09 so it’s time to sample the shows it has in store for us!
And what better place to start than this season’s Lucky Star look-a-like K-ON!.
As mentioned by Kurogane, the resemblance is uncanny.
Tsukasa is the air-headed Hirasawa Yui
Kagami is the tsukkomi Akiyama Mio
Konata is the energetic Tainaka Ritsu
Miyuki is the lady-like (and also partially air-headed) Kotobuki Tsumugi

I guess it is finally the time for Tsukasa-like characters to shine eh? XD
Anyway, beyond the Lucky Star resemblance, K-ON! is definitely stuck on my watch list since I happen to like this particular genre of comedy/slice of life/school life.
Not to mention the OP kicks some ass. I can imagine myself looping it non-stop already.

I never really warmed up to Tsukasa, but I immediately fell in love with Yui. Go figure.
Interesting that they didn’t get Aya Hirano to voice Mio, since she’d be a perfect tsukkomi/rock singer. It’s almost as though she’s busy doing something else…

Just wondering.. Did anyone else spot the “ghost” in the 1st ep? The part when Yui walks through the corridor looking for the clubroom and feels scared.. Somewhere @ 13:23 i think..
