[Singapore]License2Play Gaming and Electronics Event

At least I bothered to check it out so you can’t call me lazy

Went down today to check out the License2Play event down at suntec today.

It was a pretty swept under the carpet event so I didn’t event hear about it until a few days before it started.

To put it in a nutshell, it was BORING.

Unless you are a gamer or involved in the WOW or whatever competitions, there’s nothing really worth seeing there.

Essentially booths showcasing some MMORPGs such as the new Maplestory 2 and other asiasoft games like GetAmped and Cabal, booths with PS3s and other consoles with the rest of the booths selling LCD TVs.

I’ve altogether lost interest in MMORPGs since I feel they are a complete waste of my life (thank you Maplestory for wasting my youth when I was young and foolish).

Sitting at home playing games, watching anime and blogging is a much more productive way to live my life. XD

The only reason I was there was to catch the cosplayers. But with the event scheduled at 8pm I cannot help but feel the cosplay thing is more of an afterthought than part of the events line up.

Anyway, I didn’t stay for the competition since it was getting late.

I did catch a certain trooper stalking droids though.
