Singapore Streetfest 2009 Cosplay

And once again Streetfest is back with more music and of course more cosplay.

One of the larger cosplay events this year, we’ve got some nice costumes and cosplayers down at *scape in the Youth Park at Orchard.

Major venue change from indoor air conditioned to outdoor sweltering hot. The weather in Singapore lately has been unforgivingly hot and it didn’t help at all that it had rained in the morning prior to the event.

Although there was no direct sun for the better part of the day, the heat and humidity certainly made it tough for both photographers and cosplayers. Though it must have been infinitely tougher for the cosplayers. Kudos to them.

On the bright side, the park had more open space so shooting was better. Really enjoyed the looks of passersby XD.

Okay lets get it on.

Among the cosplays this time, the shows/characters with the largest showing turned out to Hitman Reborn and Vocaloid, with two groups of Vocaloids walking the ground.

I’ll be arranging some of the pics into groups as I go in this post.

Gokudera is one of my better liked characters. Especially like the way this guy does the adult version of him.

Still don’t see many people doing Luka cosplay though this one is decent indeed

Even less do Meiko cosplay. Guess she really isn’t that popular.

That’s some awesome prop Len has got there. Kaito is as gay as ever.

One of my fav cosplayers for the event. She pulls it off well.

A Certain Moe Lolita

Well, I have no idea what character she is but I do know she did a IIya from Fate Stay Night cosplay in previous events.

The first thing that came to mind was Sheryl Nome though.

Nevertheless she wows the crowd again this time with her attire though she seemed rather nervous due to the large crowd of photographers crowding around her ^^
