I think it has been compared alot but TTGL keeps popping to mind whenever I watch NEEDLESS although I feel TTGL was abit more serious (if that was even possible).

Same here. Hayate no Gotoku and Needless are my favourite shows this season! Maybe Senjou no Valkyria too, but only because I’m a fan of the game I guess.
