Munto TV – One OVA down

“Hurry! One last touch before I disappear!”

Also known by the absurdly long name “Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai” (catches breath), Munto TV has cleared the first OVA by the 3rd episode.

For those who do not know, this season’s Munto TV is the anime adaptation by KyoAni of the OVA series by KyoAni (lol) which features 2 episodes, Munto and Munto 2: Beyond the Walls of Time, both of which are great shows to watch.

He gets a much cooler outfit OVA 2 onwards

The main difference between the OVA and the anime series would be the improved aspect ratio and an attempt to fill in the gaps of the OVA. Given that the first OVA debuted about 2003, the animation does look a little off  though that should improve much later when they move to the 2nd OVA (which is more recent) and whatever new things they throw in. If the pace is anything to go by, I’m guessing they would wrap the 2nd OVA with about another 3 episodes or more and spend the remainder of the 13 episode season expanding past the 2nd OVA.

Love this scene for some reason

This one’s in my “must watch” list. I can’t wait for the next episode’s epic battle.
