I has Otaku Encyclopedia

Otaku-Guide

Something I had my friend help pick up for me from Kinokuniya.

Never expected it to be sold in Singapore but since it is, I just bought it for the heck of it.

It’s about the same size as your typical manga and reads like a dictionary (i.e alphabetical order), listing down various terms and famous people in this subculture as well as interviews with them.

“Lolicon” took up one and a half pages.

I don’t agree with all of the definitions but then again, who gives a shit about MY opinion right?

Otherwise, a nice read for those curious about the origins of certain words and the history behind them.

No, there is no entry for “Lucky Star”.

No, I am not happy about that.
