figma Signum – The walking armory

Managed to get my hands on this lovely figma, Signum from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series.

And just like the other figmas of this series, the quality is awesome shit.

Signum is the first of Hayate’s Knights to get a figma.

Next in line would be Shamal (already pre-ordered) and lastly, Vita (based on the recent Wonfest coverage).

Let’s take a look.

Fresh out of the box

Signum has the torso joint that the recent figmas like Hayate and Kagamiku have. Fortunately, the costume is able to partially hide the joint in a way similiar to Hayate. Seems Kagamiku is the only one so far to get a raw deal in the visual department from that joint. However, Signum’s (at least mine) torso joint is rather weak, resulting in her body easily splitting into two (ouch). No damage there but putting the body back together repeatedly is kind of tiring.

Nice detail

Detail-wise, Signum is quite well done. She shares the same movable dress/cape that Hayate has and her barrier jacket is made of rubber which can sometimes obscure the stand port but is otherwise fine. Her legs however are relatively restricted in range of motion due to the dress/cape so certain poses are out of the question.

Great hair detail too

Like the rest of the Nanoha series figmas, Signum come with an array of accessories though in this case, a VAST array of accessories which is likely the main driving force behind her sales. ^^

Fans of the show would likely recognise them.

Interchangeable

Now that we’ve seen the accessories, lets see them with Signum.

One of the nice parts of Signum is her ponytail, which when positioned sideways gives the impression of a blowing wind and does up her cool factor.

Signum also comes with a special hand which is capable of gripping the scabbard of her blade Laevatein. this allows for some cool poses like below.

Tried using a black background this time. Looks pretty good with Signum.
