CLANNAD 18: And so I cried

I wants mini-Nagisa hugs too!!!

Finally, KyoAni opens up the waterworks for me. BAWWWWWWWWWW!!!

We finally get to see that despite whatever Sanae looks like on the outside, she is in fact a very accomplished plotter.

And she’s probably the first to ever get the title of GILF (Grandmothers I‘d Love to ****).

Sanae pwns you grandma

Sanae’s percieved attempt to force Tomoya and Ushio together actually runs much deeper, with a plot to make Tomoya meet up with his grandmother (who is NOT a GILF. Sanae FTW). It scares me how much Sanae can manipulate Tomoya to this extent. Or maybe it’s just because it’s Tomoya we are talking about.

Anyway, grandma wakes Tomoya to the reality he is living in, that he is actually living his father’s life all over again. Being compared to the person whom he’s probably hated for how many years was certainly quite a shock to him and served as a long overdue bitch slap to him.

Now that he can (finally) see what’s going on around him and where his father was coming from, Tomoya begins to make up for lost time and patch things up with his father (according to the preview anyway).

So is this the end of the waterworks or is there something more tear-jerking to come?

P.S: In before Setsukyie can make a post. Bwahahahahaha!
