AFA 09 Day 1 – As the hordes rush in

This is nutcase23, reporting live from AFA09, bringing you coverage while sitting in some dingy corner with wireless broadband.

Just like last year, I came down early to check out the crowd which is not so bad early in the morning this year as the organisers decided (wisely) to allow ticket  collection the day before.

Nevertheless, a crowd was there.

Some managed to find some forms of entertainment..

However,  a certain person came and an uproar ensued.

After collecting my media pass, I proceeded to check out the booths.

First up is the much hyped Tokyo Figure Show by Good Smile Company.

Here’s a look at the stage this year, which is much more elaborate compared to last year.

However, the view for the general public seems kinda poor….. =P

And there’s KKnM and Cospa booth selling their goods and merchandise.

Bandai’s booths pretty much takes up about 1/6th of the entire floor space, selling gundams, displaying gundams and having different activites that engaged the children.

Extravaganza has a booth showcasing works by various artists.
