Street Fighter IV released early in Australia

The opening theme is not by Justin Timberlake, but by some other band.

Street Fighter IV, the hotly anticipated game has been released three days early in Australia at JB Hi-Fi stores, and since Disgaea 3 has been delayed release until early March here, I decided to get Streeties while I could. Street Fighter IV is one of the more hardcore fighting game fanbases, and people have been waiting for this one for a long time, and I must say the game was worth the wait.

I’ve had a go at it, and I’ve frequently been defeated by the few people online several times. My motor skills and coordination have never been the best as compared to my other video game playing chums, but I still keep trying.

Each Street Fighter character has an anime prologue and ending this time, and even though I miss the 2D Street Fighter days where I used to get beaten by my friend Dave who owned a SNES, the transition to 3D on this one was probably for the best. The animations of the fighting moves are a lot more fluid, and have no fear, otakus, Chun-Li in my opinion looks better in 3D than she did in 2D sprites, even if you lot do prefer the 2D variety of fighting games, this is worth a look.
