This figure of Ryu from the Street Fighter series of games has been on my list for a while, and it’s a action figure with movable joints more than just a static figure. However, there is a Hurricane Kick base which Ryu can stand on.

This figure’s joints are stiff at first, but they loosen up to a state with some jiggling. There are two pairs of hands which are interchangeable but you have to put them in a certain way. How does he pose? Well he poses well but don’t expect him to be too graceful. He’s detailed but let’s just say he won’t exactly win over Chun-Li unless he fixes his hair a bit. Poor guy’s hands fall off if you jiggle them in the wrong way and that could compromise his standing with the ladies too. Or even in fighting. You can’t Hadoken without hands.
All up it’s a great figure but has small flaws which are overlookable, like the handsy issue. So basically I give this incarnation of Ryu an 8 out of 10 Chibis.
