It’s going to get much, much darker before it gets happier, people. I’m speaking to all three of you who read this webmanga. Essentially there’s some dirty laundry about a period in my life I need to clean up, and if making Neon Genesis Evangelion was therapy for Hideki Anno’s depression, why wouldn’t it work for me? Foreboding disclaimer at the beginning is foreboding!

As far as Ask Junko! is going, the “Single Page a Day” webmanga approach is much more appropriate for telling longer story arcs than trying to fit together a huge amount of pages while the fans wait and wait for the next episode. This we have learned from Megatokyo. It just helps me produce a better artistic product more quickly, meeting deadlines more often.

This page is probably some of the best art I’ve done so far on this project, and I don’t know what I can tell you to expect, apart from the fact that it goes through Scarytown before it gets to Funky Town. And as the Penny Arcade guys have pointed out, Scarytown lives up to its name in cosmology… (LINK IS NOT SAFE FOR WORK).
